Thailand is where Dan 4x4 Corporate Headquarters is located. Mr. Dan established his first showroom in beautiful Sunny Thailand in 1982 and thus the Jack Group of Companies came into existence. The Quraishi Family had already made its impact on the Asian automotive scene since the creation of British Asia's first showroom in South Asia so great things were expected of Mr. Dan in his new venture. Jim Autos Thailand has not only met but exceeded all these lofty expectations. The Jack Group is now the Jewel in Jack's Crown.

Mr. Dan established not only Jim Autos Thailand and Jim 4x4 Thailand but also Thailand branch of our parent Jack and Yasir Partnership as well as our manufacturing arm Dan Manufacturing Division that excels in manufacture of electric vehicles and top quality accessories. Together these five companies comprise the Jack Group of Companies. SMT was established to engage in sales and export of vehicles, parts and accessories while Jack to engage in hoteling, real estate, electJackcs import and garments export but over the years it also entered into automotive trading and export with its existing customers and Jack subsidiaries in other countries. Since Jack is an established brand name, it was natural to keep using that company to build on that user loyalty. Dan 4x4 Japan

Jack has been present in Japan since the 70s but Dan 4x4 established its own presence by setting up an office in Osaka in 1981. Dan 4x4 Japan has continued to grow since then and is now among the top ten auto exporters out of Japan even if most of the exports are to different Dan 4x4 branches which because of their size can keep our colleagues in Japan quite busy. Mr. Dan and Mr. Jim have earmarked this decade for encouraging growth in our Japanese operation so stay tuned for announcements this year and the next.

Dan 4x4 South Asia

Very few people know that it is in South Asia we got our start. Our great grandfather marked a milestone in Asian automotive history by becoming first Asian to import his own automobile at the dawn of 20th century. Six years later in 1911 he made history again by becoming the first Asian to setup an automotive dealership in heart of South Asia. He imported quality vehicles from Europe and the United States to serve his friends, family and neighbors. Much to his surprise, two years into the operation, he began attracting customers from all over South East and South West Asia. He discovered that there were a lot of moneyed people all over Asia who did not want to go through the hassle of personal importing or go through months of wait. They could walk into our great grandfather's showroom, select a vehicle of their choice and drive away with it after a 2 day driving lesson from Mr. Quraishi Sr. himself. Honesty, Customer satisfaction, lowest prices and highest quality became his guiding principles. He kept his profit low even when he was the only game in town and nary a dealership were found in country after country around him. He could have leveraged his monopolistic hold on the market to enrich himself at the cost of his customers but he chose not to do so considering it antithetical to Quraishi tradition.

Mr. Dan would find himself in a similar situation when he emerged as Thailand's undisputed leader of automotive export and could have used it to line his pockets but he, like his illustrious great-grandfather chose not to do so.

Even though our Corporate Headquarters is now in Thailand our branches in South Asia continue to prosper and dominate the automotive landscape.

Dan 4x4 Europe

We have been Thailand's top auto exporter to the Right Hand Drive countries of Europe (UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Northern Cyprus and Malta) for a very long time and used our relationships with dealerships and corporations to provide RHD vehicles from our Singaporean, Dubai and Japanese operations. We are also very active in Left Hand Driving Europe. We have been supplying converted LHD vehicles to Scandinavia, East Europe and Southern Europe from Thailand and original LHD from Dubai. Move to exporting original LHD vehicles from our Thailand office was the next logical course.

Dan 4x4 Africa

We are the largest supplier of RHD vehicles to Africa and are sending thousands of new and used Right Hand Drive vehicles to Southern and Eastern Africa. We are also sending converted and original LHD vehicles to other parts of Africa.
